OUR ONLINE SHOP

We cannot sell alcoholic products to anyone under 18. By using our website shop, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and of legal drinking age in your country of residence. For this reason, we may refuse an order at our discretion and orders may not be transferred from the customer to any other person. You, the buyer, shall be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided in your order and we will not be obliged to accept an order if all details required are not fully captured.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made online by debit or credit card. All payments will be settled in GBP. We accept the following: Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Visa Electron.

Your payment details will be encrypted to maximise security. Authority will be requested at the time of payment at the checkout. Your account will be automatically charged for your order once it has been acknowledged. Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.

Scilly Spirit Distillery reserves the right to cancel any order received and refund the total value of the order to the cardholder.

PRICES

All prices are in GBP (Great British Pound). The prices are clearly set out in our website. All prices are expressed inclusive of any V.A.T payable, and exclusive of delivery costs unless stated. You will be advised of the delivery cost for your area at the time of the order being accepted. We reserve the right to alter prices of our products at any time without prior notice.

SHIPPING

All deliveries are sent by Royal Mail or DHL. For UK deliveries please allow 3-5 working days from clearance of funds. For international deliveries please contact our office for further information. There are no post planes leaving Scilly on Saturdays and Sundays.

Please notify us of non-delivery or damage, within 7 days of the order dispatched email.

Delivery charges are calculated by destination. Please enquire hello@scillyspirit.com for international costs.

Unfortunately due to customs laws relating to posted goods we cannot deliver to the following countries:

Afghanistan, Angola, Benin, Brazil, Canada, Cape Verde, Cost Rica, Cuba, Guam, Guyana, Iran, Jamaica, Kuwait, Liberia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Nauru, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Northern Mariana Islands, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, St Vincent & The Grenadines, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Suriname, Syria, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Virgin Islands, Wake Island, Yemen

Please note that our delivery dates may be affected by public holidays, some geographic locations and weather. It may sound like an excuse, but there are times when we have no flights or sailings from our beautiful Islands!

TAX AND DUTIES

The addressee may be liable for excise fees/customs duty if the value/ proportion of alcohol sent exceeds the country limit. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check this before ordering. Scilly Spirit Distillery shall not be liable for any of these fees and will not issue refunds on purchases not delivered due to non-payment of customs fees. All purchases and postage charges within the EU are subject to VAT.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

All of Scilly Spirit Distillery’s products and services are subject to availability. If we are unable to fulfil your order we will contact you within 2 working days of receiving your order.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

We do hope that you are happy with your purchase. However, should you feel it necessary to return an item because it is faulty or different to that which you have ordered, we aim to make the return process as simple as possible. We must be notified of damaged or faulty goods within 2 days of delivery. We will refund you using the method of payment used to make the purchase. Goods must be returned unopened, sealed and in the original packaging. Scilly Spirit Distillery will refund accepted returns within 30 days of you notifying us about the return. The postage of the return is the responsibility of the purchaser. Liability for loss or damage during transit of goods being returned is the responsibility of the purchaser.

GIN SCHOOL

The costs for Gin School are either for one person or two people. Unfortunately we are unable to allow someone to accompany and watch at no cost. We require a minimum of 72 hours for a cancellation or reschedule of a Gin School Appointment, otherwise the full payment will be retained. Gin School and Distillery Tours for 18 years old and over only. By booking online, you agree that you, or the guests you are booking for, are of legal age. If you cancel your booking for a tour or Gin School, we will refund you minus the processing charges we incur from the credit card company in handling your payment.
