Island Gin Triple Citrus in Honour of Grandma
Island Gin Triple Citrus is our ‘thank you’ to Grandma, for all the delicious marmalade she made and sold on the island until she was over 100 years old!
Her ‘Three Fruits Marmalade’ (orange, lemon and pink grapefruit) was a favourite. We have reproduced Grandma’s recipe, as a gin - Triple Citrus Island Gin. We extract the pure flavours from the peels, bringing vibrant, tangy and slightly sweet citrus notes, all enrobed in juniper, which leap out of the glass, delivering a gin we’re sure Grandma would approve of!
Her jars were topped with red gingham covers, and her labels always had a picture of her favourite bird of Scilly, a puffin. Our labelling replicates both of these. The puffin in flight is the work of island artist, Gemma Pearce, with her distinctive “stipple artwork” - thousands of individual dots by pen - with it’s beautiful beak, vibrant with orange, yellow and pink tones, just like the three fruits.
